How the roast handles data.
This policy explains what roast.cool collects and how we use it. The goal is simple: keep the experience working while avoiding unnecessary data collection.
We may process wallet addresses, chain data, battle results, roast content, device or session identifiers used for basic app functionality, and standard server logs needed to operate the service.
We use data to generate roasts and battles, display saved results, prevent obvious abuse, improve reliability, and keep the app usable. We do not use your wallet for custody or trading.
Some content shown by roast.cool comes from public blockchains or other public sources. That information may already be visible elsewhere and can be displayed by our app as part of the roast and battle experience.
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help run the app, or disclose information if required by law or to protect the service from abuse.
We may use lightweight storage or similar browser mechanisms to remember preferences, improve performance, or support features such as publish and payment flows.
We keep data only as long as needed to operate the service, maintain history, or meet legal and security requirements. Some public content may remain visible in saved roasts and battles.
You can choose not to connect a wallet or use the service. If you have questions about stored content, contact us through the footer links and include the wallet address or battle id.
No system is perfectly secure. We use reasonable safeguards, but you should never share information you do not want displayed publicly in a roast or battle context.
